Colleges do not want to lose students at the end of this process because a direct competitor is offering more. So they may be open to re-evaluating their decision based on one or two better offers you have received. If your better offers come from one of these direct competitors, feel free to share the actual award letter you received. You can contact the Office of Financial Aid directly to have this conversation, whether by phone, email, or in person. Best is to get something in writing.
